I spotted a Google Street View Camera Car (with California plates) in downtown today.  Hawaii is the only state without any street view coverage on Google Maps and Google Earth, but it looks like that’s about to change very soon. Street View allows users to see 360 degree horizontal and 290 degree vertical views anywhere along the street. The camera cars have caught people in some compromising positions prompting privacy fears, but I think Google Street View will become a valuable tool for prospective buyers who want to “visit” neighborhoods online.

今日ダウンタンでグーグル　ストリート　ビュー カメラ車（カルフォルニアのナンバープレート）に遭遇。ハワイだけがグーグル　地図や グーグル　アースでまだストリートビューの機能がまだ未完成な州です。 でもそれも近々変りそうですね。 ストリートビュー は水平線上に３６０度　そして縦には２９０度角度を変えて道から実際に見える景色をコンピューター上で映しだしてくれます。たまたまカメラに写ってしました人のプライバシーフィアーで少し注目を浴びた事がありますが、このグーグルストリートビューは実際に不動産を購入希望者とってその近所をヴァーチャル”訪問”できるとても価値ある道具だと思います。

   Some friends and I spotted and waved at the street view car traveling southbound on the Kamehemeha Highway 99 just North of the Dole Plantation. We were in a Jeep traveling to Ka`ena Point on Saturday, May 30, 2009 around 10:30 am. Keep and eye out for us with our arms waving out of the back of the jeep.
