Hanalei, on the North Shore of Kauai was selected as one of the 20 best surf towns by National Geographic.

As one of the least developed of the Hawaiian islands, Kauai is also one of the most beautiful. Hanalei is a great town for both locals and visitors.

ハワイ諸島の中でもカウアイ島は一番人の手が入っていない所だけに一番自然のままで美しい所としても知られている。ハナレイは地元の人にも旅行者にも人気のある町だ。

Disney picked a name for their Ko Olina resort on Oahu: Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina, Hawaii. According to their new website, Aulani will be a world-class resort like no other. The resort is scheduled to open Fall 2011.

I wonder what impact this will have on real estate values in that area?

ノースショアーの一本道を走っているとププケアビーチ公園近くで第３１回フイオヘエナル独立記念日パドルボードスダンドアップパドルレースに遭遇した。数百のレース参加者がサンセットビーチからワイメアまでの距離を競っている様子がわかるでしょうか。

Two Hawaii beaches have been named to Coastal Living magazine’s top 10 secluded beaches list: Lanikai Beach, on Oahu, and Lumahai Beach on Kauai. Both beaches are in fairly remote locations, and unlike popular beaches like Ala Moana and Waikiki, both are refreshingly “crowd free.” Hopefully, this national article will not attract huge crowds.
