Disney picks a name for their Oahu resort

Disney picked a name for their Ko Olina resort on Oahu: Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina, Hawaii. According to their new website, Aulani will be a world-class resort like no other. The resort is scheduled to open Fall 2011.

I wonder what impact this will have on real estate values in that area?

Spotted a few hundred stand-up paddle boarders as they raced by Pupukea Beach Park in the 31st Annual Hui O He`e Nalu Independence Day Paddle Board and Stand up Paddle Race from Sunset Beach to Waimea.

ノースショアーの一本道を走っているとププケアビーチ公園近くで第３１回フイオヘエナル独立記念日パドルボードスダンドアップパドルレースに遭遇した。数百のレース参加者がサンセットビーチからワイメアまでの距離を競っている様子がわかるでしょうか。

Two Hawaii Beaches make Coastal Living Magazine’s Top 10 List

Two Hawaii beaches have been named to Coastal Living magazine’s top 10 secluded beaches list: Lanikai Beach, on Oahu, and Lumahai Beach on Kauai. Both beaches are in fairly remote locations, and unlike popular beaches like Ala Moana and Waikiki, both are refreshingly “crowd free.” Hopefully, this national article will not attract huge crowds.
